Speaking Engagements: Schools

Has your school been impacted by trauma in the community? Unfortunately, grief and trauma is becoming very present in the lives of young children due to natural disasters, violence, and illness. A Certified Child Life Specialist is available to help your students understand, process, and cope with the trauma that they are experiencing.

Available locally in the Baltimore, MD area without additional charges. Available in other areas of the country with travel expenses paid (contact for further discussion if interested).

Included in this Session:

• Explanation of current situation utilizing sensitive, developmentally, and age appropriate information

• Opportunity for emotional expression to process feelings related to potentially traumatic events

• Teaching of coping skills and suggestions for healing and processing of emotions

$250 for 1 hour, book additional sessions if you would like multiple classes served*
